Although Julien has a French passport and used to call Paris home, he’s spent a good part of his life living abroad, at times enjoying Spanish tapas or the Bolshoï in Moscow.
Nourished by this borderless environment and while graduating in history and political science, Julien studied fine arts, graphic novels and photography.
After a decade managing consulting projects for companies such as Habitat, Sephora or Saint Gobain, he eventually reconciled his taste for drawing and business and established himself as a freelance designer specializing in communication & packaging design.
With a strong foothold in the liquor industry, Julien deeply believes that meaningfulness creates impactful designs. For him, designing is another way of telling stories, reviving history, exploring time and geography. And yes, authenticity matters!
During his years in Cognac, France, Julien also taught regular seminars about the premiumization of packaging to brandy professionals.
